At the invitation sent to the media, the purpose of this table is to discuss the urgent need to pass the law on salaries in the public sector to respond to the needs and requirements of the sector's vulnerable categories following price hikes and economic instability.
Participants at this table, except MPs, will also be representatives of unions and NGOs.
We remember that following the adoption of this law by Kosovo Parliament deputies in 2019, the Constitutional Court of Kosovo had declared it invalid. Under the decision, the law was not compatible with 11 provisions of the Kosovo Constitution.
