Through a media communiqué, they have stated that they consider that the cofficiency for nurses, midwives and other health professionals in primary and secondary care 2.20 and for those in theatre care 2.25 is not a merit assessment of their communities and profession in general.
Kosovo's “Sindicate of nurses, midwives and other health professionals did not support the protests of other organisations warned about the coming days. We support this decision in the fact that we consider that the coefficacy of nurses, midwives and other health professionals in primary and secondary care 2.20, and for those in the 2.25 series, it is not a merit assessment of our communities and the profession generally”, it is said in their announcement.
In addition, this union encourages members of the Kosovo Nurse Union throughout the country not to join protests or strikes whose aim is the pressure for the Law of Salaries to be budgeted to eventually proceed in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
This law will only take advantage of a few quaregories, while nursing communities, Mom and other health professionals will not benefit from the current cofficients. Nurses, midwives and other health professionals who are not yet members of the Kosovo Infermies Union hope to make the right choice in their interest, while joining protests and strikes is their personal decision”, it is further said.
They further added that the Kosovo Infermies Union's request is the 3.2-0eficent for all health system levels.
