Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has talked about the last meeting between the two governments -- Albania and Kosovo -- as well as the agreements signed between the two countries.
Haradinaj during an interview for an Albanian television has said that Kosovo and Albania should evacuate in implementing signed agreements, adding that our two countries should have goals for the future.
Kosovo and Albania badly need to reach out to all bilateral relations protocols in every area of life. Signing agreements is very good but important is implementing them, meaning the time to implement these agreements. It is very important for Albanians to have and agree on some goals that are more important to the future. Some of these goals are from economic areas, some of the security, and some of the national character goals that we need to have clear now”.
The agreements are being signed by the governments of the two governments, but then they're stuck in the systems of our two countries, and that's probably why we're delaying the realisation of the responsibilities taken. Thus, efforts must be made to ensure their implementation in time”, Haradinaj said.
Former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said there must be a pact between the two countries, such as in the area of security for bilateral military defence.
The key “is the unification of all economic, tax and administrative policies that would enable an integration of our market and economies, and I believe we still need infrastructure like the nation's road, energy highways, but we don't have a Kosovo- Albania, which is very necessary. We also need to advance to the security field -- that is, a pact for mutual military protection, as was the case of the earthquake in Albania, where Kosovo had sent its military troops over time, but the bad was that there was too much bureaucracy, so it takes a pact between the two countries to automatism if one or the other country is endangered in any form”, Haradinaj has said.
According to the first AAK, the Albanian state should be granted citizenship to all Albanians because it is in Albania's interest because it increases the number of participants in the market and the economy. I believe Albanian citizenship is in Albania's interest because it increases the number of market participants in the economy. So if all Albanians are granted citizenship, then there are over 10 million people associated with Albania who have contributions to all that is happening in Albania; in taxes, in contributions or even in visits, so the power of the Albanian state grows both in economic, security, and in other areas”, Haradinaj has indicated.
