The large number of residences, even the cheaper price, caused Kosovo's number of residents to rise in Fushe. And exactly the residents are one of the criteria where the government is based on budget sharing for municipalities.
But, in the municipality of Fushe Kosovo, they say that three times more residents live in this city than are registered.
According to the 2022 draft budget, 11,656,080 euros, out of which only 3,061,080 are used for capital investments.
Topalli says that much is not enough for their municipality
On the other hand, economists say these criteria should be looked into more detail. Jakup Bellaqa shows the criteria for budget sharing for municipalities.
The municipality, which from the state budget gets the least money, is the part of Partesh, for which only 1,129,456 euros are earmarked. So is Klokot's 1,145,364 euros, and slightly more receives Mamsuha's 1,802,040 euros.
And, Kosovo's chief centre owns the largest revenues from budgetary division. Pristina gets 90,669,333 euros.
The capital spends over 30m euros on salaries and additions, while 27,124,88 euros on capital spending.
The number two for the budget keeps Prizren's, with 47,788,686.
In the five most divided municipalities, Ferizaj includes 33,933,8684, Peja with 29,296,053 and Gjilan with 29,075,279.
The government's budget bill has hired 31 municipalities, while 7 of them have not yet approved the budget in the Municipal Framework under budgetary limits.
