The Kosovo Gastronom Association is calling for all municipalities to be freed from public space exploitation fees, respectively.
According to them, this is playing an important role in facilitating doing business under extraordinary circumstances of public and economic health.
They say that last year a very large number of municipalities have released these costs by positively influencing the economic situation of gastronomy.
“However, some municipalities have already proved to be a good example of how the state of business should be managed, continuing to free up the exploitation of the terraces for even more time“, their announcement said.
Full announcement:
Interventions with central-level and local-level support measures during the pandemic have played an important role in facilitating doing business under extraordinary circumstances of public and economic health.
Among these have been the releases of public area exploitation fees, in the past year, a huge number of municipalities have released these payments by positively influencing gastronomic economic conditions.
However, in view of macroeconomic circumstances, the contraction of liquidity, and the continuing and heavy state of the gastronomial sector, and especially the expectations that struggling with pandemics have for a relatively long time ahead, support measures must continue in various forms, and especially the release from the payment of the tender municipal fee.
However, some municipalities have already proved to be a good example of how business conditions should be managed, continuing to free the exploitation of terraces for even more time, such as Prizren's municipality, Ferizaj, Podujevo, Suhareka, Lipjan, etc., and that of Drinas, who has recently approved the demand for release from this fee for four years, proceeding the same for approval in the municipality of the municipality, as provided with the Local Law Self Government, with hope of voting in the Kujamund.
As an Association, we are making this prayerful scripture so that this good example can be practiced in any community, for one may not seem to be much, but it is very necessary to relieve businessism under abnormal circumstances that we are undergoing as a sector.
