Military service is said to be an honor and privilege for many.
The minister of defence, Armend Mehaj, has even considered such commitment compulsory as a soldier.
And with that action is aimed at strengthening the Kosovo Security Forces to serve the country.
However, do citizens feel that military service should be binding?
There are also those who think such a project is unaffordable for Kosovo. Even former KSF Commander Kadri Kastrati has indicated that such a plan is an elusive wish.
He has added that it takes more than five years to fulfill such a goal.
On the other hand, Besa Kabashi, connoisseur of security issues, has declared that such a thing should not happen.
The effectiveness of this action, according to her, would not be at the proper level.
Kosovo's government has allocated the budget for KSF worth 100m euros.
