Andrej Babish's transitional government declared 30 days of emergency in the country after more than 18 thousand new corruption cases were recorded on November 25th.
Authorities immediately introduced new measures such as the ban on large gatherings or the ban on business work until late hours.
The daily average of 1516 positive cases a day in the Czech republic in a million residents over the past week represents the highest figure of the world's infected, while only neighbouring Slovakia and Austria are the worst, claims the statistics on Our World site in Data.
The “to wait ten days and then eventually we can re-evaluate measures”, Health Minister Adam Wojtech said after suggesting that the number of infected could increase in a short period of time.
Later, many Czech media reported that President Zaman has returned to the military hospital in Prague after resulting in positive coronavirus.
The initial deterioration of the president's health in early October affected the break-up of post-election negotiations, as Prime Minister and ally Andrej Babes lost in front of the opposition coalition in the parliamentary elections.
