Bedri Hamza resigns from deputy chair and deputy post

Mitrovica Mayor-elect Bedri Hamza has resigned from the post of deputy head of the Parliament and MP.

He has said he is waiting for legal circumstances to be established to accept the task as Mitrovica chairman.

I have already announced to the Speaker of the Parliament that I have resigned from the MP's post and deputy head of the Parliament, and now I expect judicial conditions to be established that I can take office. Legal circumstances must be created that the assembly was established and continued with the work”, Hamza said of Indexline.

We remember that Bedri Hamza in the 17 October elections has managed to win elections without a run-off.

Hamza placed first in 53% of the vote, convincing Mitrovica's acting chairman, Vetevendosje candidate Agim Bahtiri.
