The first witness questioning in the trial against former heads of the KLA War Veterans Organisation has continued over the contents of the first package with documents that have been seized by O VL-KLA.
ZPS's first Witness, Zenka Pumer, has said that package 1 contained documents with requests for co-ordination provided by Task Special Investigative Force.
The “A large portion of the documents containing packages 1 are the requirements for co-ordination offered by Task Special Investigative Forces -- namely, assistance in investigations by the Serbian war crimes prosecutor. So, it's about communication between the Serbian war crimes prosecutor and various units or different police stations, so it's about internal communication when the prosecutor asked police to conduct investigations, for example, find witnesses or receive statements, and police then reported, returned and delivered the required” materials, the SPS witness said.
Prosecutor Valeria Bolic has asked the witness what is the classification of processes or investigation documents in criminal cases and, according to the witness, they are confidential documents.
The Witness has said the documents were in the Serbian language and have included statements that have issued possible witnesses, such as that, verified it.
The Witness has said that confiscated documents have classified them by numbers, which she said package number 4 has been handed over to a media and sent the same email that talks about the flow of package 1.
It's an email that sends a news media to our deputy who's talking about the flow of package 1 essentially. There's another email that's talking about coming in one. As far as I know the author of this email has given us the 4” package available, she said.
She has said package 4 has a lot of similarities to package 1.
Prosecutor Valeria Bolic has presented some documents to the witness throughout the hearing, which she has confirmed had them written.
The prosecutor has asked the court to register as material evidence documents the witness confirmed as true.
I'd like to request that documents that the witness just proved to be true as evidence at this stage, and especially are documents that keep identification numbers ERN080464 to 080464 ID documents ERN081083 to 081083, ID number ERN080992 to 080992, and document with ID numbers ERN08103 to 08103. All of these are important, are provative in nature and have been identified by the witness as documents, which are seized by the number one package from OVL-KLA”, prosecutor Bolic has said.
In this regard, Hysni Gucati's lawyer, Jonathan Rees, has demanded from the chairman of the court's embarrassment that this be postponed to the end of bearing witness testimony.
The Witness who is being heard today is the coordinator of the investigation into this office and is part of the SPS since 2016.
She has said her job is to interview witnesses, analyse evidence, write reports and prepare work plans and that she has been involved in a considerable work on the O case. VL-KLA.
Her hearing will continue in the afternoon, while the session is at lunch break.
