The trial begins, Hysni Gucati Specials: I am innocent, completely

The trial of Nasim Haradinaj and Hysni Gucati, the two leaders of the War Veterans Organisation, has begun in The Hague.

They're accused of obstructing justice.

“Hysni Gucati, Nasim Haradinaj and other aides were aware that as a consequence of their actions and inactions, they could promote criminal acts or help carry out them. Gucati and Haradinaj committed the criminal act of obstructing official work, intimidation during criminal procedure, revenge and violation of the secret of procedure and the identity of protected witnesses. Gucati and Haradinaj bear responsibility for the threat, a criminal act for threatening social networking”, the judge read.

Later, the prosecutor has asked Gucati about his plea or innocence. Transformed part:

Gucati: Before I call you, I'd like to read my biography, a couple of minutes.

Prosecutor: Mr. Gucati, are you guilty or not of charges brought against you, yes or no?

Gucati: I'm completely innocent.
