Radio's Free Europe journalists in northern Kosovo say local Serbs blocked the Pristina-Rashka magistrate's route in the Rudare settlement in Zvecan municipality.
According to reports about 200 citizens gathered at this location and several trucks were placed in the street in protest.

Six police officials have suffered bodily injuries, six North Mitrovica residents sought medical assistance, meanwhile, eight people have been arrested and accompanied to police stations. This is the epilogue of an action against the smuggling of Kosovo Police and Customs, which was met with opposition in northern Mitrovica and Zvecan. The anti-muggling action took place in the Pristina, Pec, South Mitrovica and North Mitrovica region.

While all other police operations in all other regions have gone smoothly, in northern Mitrovica criminal groups have been organised, set up roadblocks of roads with various means of transport, used gas balloons, shock bombs, gunfire and hand grenades, with the aim of obstructing and attacking customs and police officials, who have been in charge of the official”, the Kosovo Police report said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said these police actions are preceded by intensive investigations and are on orders and co-ordinated with competent prosecutors and courts.
He added that “we will fight and prevent”.
While Serbia's prime minister, Anna Brnabyq has invited the international community to react to the action.
I call on the international community, NATO and KFOR, to react urgently and stop (v.j. Kosovo prime minister) Albin Kurti. The situation is more than dramatic and this is the last moment in which a clear response is needed to prevent the crazy policy pursued by Pristina. This kind of behavior has surpassed every measure and led us to the brink of”, Brnabyq said through a media communique.
Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has been warned he will meet in Rashka with Serb representatives from Kosovo. Raska is a city in Serbia that close to the border with Kosovo, near the Jarinje border crossing, respectively.
