A powerful earthquake has hit Greece's shores, measuring between 5.9 and 6.4 on the Richter scale.
Dries have reportedly felt as far as Turkey, Egypt, Syria and Israel, and this earthquake occurred a week after another quake of 6.3 Magnitude in Crete, turning buildings into ruins.
The quake's episode is believed to be near the Dodecanese island of Rhodes.
The European-Mediterranean seismological Centre wrote on Twitter, saying: “The 6.4 earthquake was felt in the Mediterranean Sea and South Greece”.
Residents said their rooms shook as much as “from one side to the other”.
