Prime Minister Albin Kurti, once chairman of Vetevendosje, has said he is satisfied with the runoff his party secured in 12 municipalities.
“Days were held local elections, were free democratic and fair without any significant incidents. All complaints will be addressed by relevant state bodies. As VV chairman, I am very pleased to see so many candidates in the runoff. It is a chance to continue to talk with Kosovo citizens about how to protect and advance this half year's achievements in good governance on fighting corruption and rule of law. Real change in citizen level is much more than words, more and cleaner water, better and healthier air, more efficient waste management, etc. The change made true on the citizen level is not only big promises for old problems such as intense traffic, but it means real plans within our reach”, Kurti/Periscope said.
