The first meeting of expert working groups on the issue of vehicle license plates between Kosovo and Serbia took place today in Brussels.
This meeting discussed the plan of regular meetings between experts' working leaders in the coming months, aimed at finding a final and permanent solution to the issue, based on two fundamental principles: the solution to the European Union's current best standards and practices, and any potential change should be valid and undertaken by both sides.
This meeting is based on the agreement reached on September 30th, 2021, with the European Union's mediation, under which a working group has been formed for within six months to reach a sustainable solution to the issue of freedom of movement.
