Kosovo authorities present in Porto Roman

Today, the Kosovo Customs Directorate was visiting Albanian Customs Director General Gail Gazheli, where he was received by counterpart Agron Llugaliu.

The visit is following the meeting of two prime ministers of Albania and Kosovo, a few days ago in Pristina.

During this meeting, the conversationators discussed topics of bilateral interest aimed at accelerating and facilitating customs procedures in the passage of goods between the two countries with particular emphasis on the passing of Vremica and Durres, simplified bilateral procedures, senbilising economic operations for these procedures, the possibility of mutual recognition of the shelling, and ensuring possible presence of Kosovo authorities in Porto Roman.

The establishment of co-operation with Albanian Customs brings benefits to Albania's business as well, so our administrations work daily to facilitate legitimate business and on the other hand to fight irregularities and corruption”, Kosovo Customs Director said.
