Thousands of citizens during yesterday stood by computers and their phones, renewing the German Embassy's page for appointment.
But they were in great trouble to do so.
Some of them have even warned protests before the German Embassy in Kosovo on Monday, at 2: 00 p.m.
Now, the Embassy has issued a reaction in which it says that our citizens (Kosovars) along with citizens of five other Western Balkan states are even treated privilegedly in the German labour market.
The request is actually so large that the terms available for next month are reserved in just a few minutes and the waiting list for the term had to be closed again.” embassy has been expressed, Periscope follows.
It further adds that the term reserve system is subject to “high security standards and is managed in centralised form in Germany. ”
Full status:
Terms Set by Regiment for Western Balkans
As of January 1st, 2021, the next piece of „Rule for the Western Balkans“is in force. Until 31.12.2023 citizens from the six Western Balkan countries have a privileged approach to the German labour market. Conditions for visa giving remain the adoption of the Federal Labour Agency. Within a calendar year, 25,000 approvals for such applications, 5,500 per year, can be issued to Kosovo for application. This number corresponds somewhat to the number of visas of this category released for 2019.
In line with this Embassy, it can only offer limited contracting of terms for a month. Terms for payment of requests are assigned for each month by itself. At the beginning of each month, the waiting list for next month opens.
In 7.10. We have opened the list of visa terms under the Order for the Western Balkans for November. Currently, the demand is so large that terms available for next month are reserved within just a few minutes and the waiting list for the term has had to be closed again. Due to the high demand, the contingent for November has already been exhausted.
The term reserve system is subject to high security standards and is managed centrally in Germany. Despite the extremely high capacity of the terming system available worldwide by the Federal Foreign Ministry in Berlin, short-term obstacles to the system in cases of multiple approaches at the same time can unfortunately not always be averted.
The waiting list for the term for December will open in early November. The exact time of the next opening will be shown in advance on our website: www.pristina.diplo.de
M E SERVANT: Terms are free and our term system is open to all. The embassy does not receive an appointment tax. All terms available at the time reserve portal are visible to and can be reserved by all. Travel agencies and companies do not have access to more or more previous terms/thermines, rather than those that they can store themselves online. Basically, the system's security measures and the process of embassy terms prevent the booking of non-dual terms. For each person, only one term can be set. Later changes of data to reserved terms are not possible with the aim of protecting from misuse.
