Two cases of domestic violence occurred during yesterday.
According to the police report, the first case occurred around 1:45, after midnight, in Fushe Kosovo.
A Kosovo male suspect has been arrested since the same man physically attacked his Kosovo female wife. The victim has accepted medical treatment. In consultation with the prosecutor, the case goes to regular procedure”, the Kosovo Police report says.
The second case took place in the village of Paggarja in Gjilan, about 2: 00 p.m., when the Kosovo male suspect was arrested after the same man had physically nailed and attacked his wife.
“Victime and suspects have been offered medical treatment. In the case, the state prosecutor has consulted the ruling, with the suspect's decision following the interview, has been sent to maintaining”, the police report says further.
Family violence cases, compared with previous years, have increased this year.
Between the beginning of the year and the month of September, there have been between 100,000 and 374 cases reported.
