The chief executive of the CEC Secretariat, Burim Ahmetaj, has said that over 2300 packages of paper from the diaspora have been accepted.
Ahmeti made these comments at the next meeting of the Central Election Commission, where various points of the agenda were discussed.
“The period of voting outside Kosovo, which began on 15 September, will end on 15 October. So by October 5, The CEC has received over 2300 packages from outside. Pakos have withdrawn under police escort from Kosovo transit centres. The CEC will deal with accepting these ballot packages by October 15th. According to preliminary data, 3,200 voters have so far registered as voters with special needs”, he said.
On the other hand, Ahmetaj has said that the printing of final voter lists has been completed.
