European Union for Foreign Policy and Security High Representative Josep Borrell has invited Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, who as soon as they return to EU relief talks, which according to Borrell is the only way towards normalising the reports.
Over these days, we had a very difficult situation on the border between Kosovo and Serbia. I have twice talked with President Aleksandar Vuchic and Prime Minister Albin Kurti Kurti. Recent events and the agreement on vehicle plates reached on September 30th show that dialogue facilitated by the European Union is the only way to move forward. I have invited both leaders to return dialogue so that this process can continue”, Borrell said during a news conference Monday.
Meanwhile, Croatia's foreign affairs minister, Gordan Grliq Radman, says Union leaders when meeting in the European Council in Brussels after a month must come up with clear orders in the Western Balkans.
The latest <x0). The situation in Southeast Europe is exactly getting worse in the Western Balkans and we need to discuss these issues to provide our response in a detailed way. This should be done at the next meeting of the European Council, to be held in November”, Grliq Radman stressed.
These statements were issued within the framework of the two-day meeting of foreign affairs ministers of the 27 EU member states, which are conducting works in Luxembourg for two days.
