AKI pleads for arrest of former officers under suspicion of revealing information that jeopardised the country's security

Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor announced today the arrest of a former Kosovo Intelligence Agency employee (AKI), under suspicion of revealing information that has jeopardised the country's security. It's the guy with the M.K. initials.

After the D.A.'s announcement, for M.K.'s arrest, AKI has been declared.

Shutting down the arrest of M.C., AKI announces that “within its competencies under Law No. 03L-063, Article 2 and Article 10, has completed internal procedures on the M.K. person and in line with Article 25.2 of the Law for AKI has announced competent public prosecutor”.

Total notification of AKI:

Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI) confirms the announcement issued by the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina, dated 21.10.2021 over the arrest of the M.K. person.

AKI, within its competencies under Law No. 03L-063, Article 2 and Article 10, has completed internal procedures on the M.K. person and in line with Article 25.2 of the Law for AKI has announced the competent public prosecutor.

Regardless of who violates the security of the Republic of Kosovo, AKI remains committed to implementing its constitutional and legal mandate and competencies, as well as to fulfilling tasks in the service of security of the Republic of Kosovo.
