Vitia was the minister of health until about a month before local elections and campaigned only less than a week. He now says he will activate more and visit the capital's neighbourhoods and villages.
The first round of local elections was held in a well-managed democratic process. I humbly want to thank all citizens primarily for their high culture in this democratic election process and their powerful support. Heartfelt thanks also to all commissioners and observers who yesterday faced this process by making sure that each citizen's will goes to the right address”, he wrote.
However, he sees good from last night's result, where he says he is in the best interests of counterCandidat.
Pristina last night praised our plan for the capital, putting us to advantage in this race. We are ready and will be in the face of the new challenge set by citizens. In the four weeks ahead, we will be in every village in the city to present our plans for the capital. We will present our dream to Pristina.
