But initially, this country will have access to only 6 thousand vaccines, and these are expected to arrive in February.
Euronews Albania reports that the deal has been met with high citizens' despair, as the first amount contains very few doses, where only 3 thousand people will be vaccinated.
The first to be vaccinated are health workers, out of whom 70% have expressed themselves ready to be vaccinated.
Northern Macedonia plans that 1.2 million citizens will be vaccinated by the end of 2021.
In addition to buying 800 grand doses at Pfizer, northern Macedonia expects 800 thousand vaccines through the COVAX system.
The agreement reached with Pfizer has not been made public because the company has demanded from the RMV government to remain secret.
