Among the infected are doctors and nurses, who, by treating patients, were infected.

The director of the Infectious Clinic, Lindita Ajazaj-Berisha, in an interview for Online Economics, has said that despite the fact that there is a decline in the number of patients with COVID-19, there are also more serious patients.

Despite the last few days that we have a decrease in the number of patients that are hospitalized in the Infectious Clinic, but we still have serious cases that require intensive care, because the Infectious Clinic is in a tendency to accept serious cases and be managed by infection.

Other clinics, which are treating patients with COVID-19, have also been given, say much help.

She says that much help has been given by Pulmology Clinic, Neurology Clinic, and Central Intensive Medicine.

At the time there was a large flow of patients and the infection was in full capacity working. We have been greatly helped by the Pulmology Clinic much earlier, and the Neurology Clinic, which accepted suspicious cases and, depending on the country's confirmation, moved to Pulmology or Infectives, but has seen cases even when they were held there in Pulmology”.

“As for Central Intensive Medicine such as MIQ COVID and Sports Medicine, while we are now beginning to carry to the Neurology Clinic, which are suspicious but will now be admitted to Pulmology, which will gradually be transferred to the Infectious Clinic”, she said.

Concern for it remains the large number of health staff infected with this virus, while saying some of them are taking the treatment right at the Infectious Clinic. Ajazaj-Berisha says their state of health is good.

So far we have a bigger number of infected health staff, but most of the staff have contracted the infection, not within the clinic's spaces, but outside of it, we have a normal family and the possibility of getting this infection is the largest”.

There's a health staff currently hospitalized in the Infectious Clinic and they're in good health and they're getting treatments and an aid staff that's being treated at this” clinic.

Ajazaj-Berisha has again appealed for citizens to obey health institutions' recommendations.
