“ID welcomes the military medical team from Italy that will advise Kosovo authorities on responding to the coronavirus for the next two months. Work with local partners has already begun. I'm proud of our partnership”, it wrote Orlando on Twitter.
Express has reported that the Italian medical team has arrived in Kosovo on Friday.
The news of Gazeta Express was confirmed yesterday by Italy's Embassy spokeswoman in Kosovo, Arjeta Halitaj.
She had suggested that very soon she would organise a media conference on the issue.

According to the Health Ministry, four doctors will be part of this team.
Otherwise, days ago, Health Minister Armend Zemaj has asked Italy to send medical professionals, especially intensive care doctors and anesthesiologists to help the country in the fight with COVID-19.
Such a request, Zemaj has made at a meeting he had with Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Nicolaa Orlando.
Zemaj had announced that they have made arrangements with the Italian side for bringing some doctors and had thanked Italy for continuing support for Kosovo over the years.
