Israel's new ambassador to Belgrade, Yahel Vilan, has said today that Israel has not yet taken formal action to recognise Kosovo.
He has told Tanjug that recognition is still part of the last agreement reached in Washington among states, and believes it will not influence the reports between Serbia and Israel.
“As regards the Kosovo issue, we have a statement from Israel's prime minister for mutual recognition between Israel and Kosovo. So far we've taken action on the ground, but this is part of the agreement signed in Washington”, Vilan said.
