Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj is in Skopje, where he is making a two-day official official visit. The visit, Chief diplomat Cakaj, began with a meeting with his counterpart, Northern Macedonia Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani.
The focus of the meeting was discussions on holding the next intergovernmental meeting with particular emphasis on continuing work on building Arber Street, the Manastir-Elbassan Intercortion of Good Management of Lake Ohrid.
Also, counterparts strongly stressed the necessity of joint work to further progress with the process of membership talks with the European Union.
The “should say that Albania firmly counts North Macedonia's support for its candidacy as a non-permanent member of the Security Council for 2022-2023. ”- Cakaj said.
Furthermore, Chief Diplomat Cakaj expressed that with Minister Osmani shared the same view -- that of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue -- which should be completed clearly and cut off with recognition of the Republic of Kosovo on the part of Serbia.
