The Commission for Health and Social Goodness is holding public hearings on the Bill of Prevention and Combating Pandemia COVID-19.
Representatives of health institutions, even though they say this law has to be done earlier, however, have stressed the need to discuss this law in the Assembly.
The chairman of the Commission for Health and Social Peace, Albena Resiti, has said the bill should be called the bill to prevent the struggle of pandemic throughout Kosovo's territory. With C'rast Resitij, he said the commission proposes additional compensation for doctors and police.
The Director of the Hospital Service and the University Clinic of Kosovo, Valbon Krasniqi, has shown the dilemma about the name for the Anti-COVID-19 bill. According to Krasniqi, this law should be called, the Law for Administration COVID-19.
He said another article should be added, for health workers who have diplomas or licenses should deal with treating patients with COVID-19.
Kosovo National Institute of Public Health Chairman Naser Ramadani said the law on pandemic has to be imposed earlier, and that another law is limited.
Ramadani has stressed that the dignity of health workers has had to be established in this law, adding that their dignity has been profaned by all.
Kosovo Police Director Rashit Qalaj is also on the committee present.
Qalaj said the law should also have the law on administrative fines.
