MP Haxhi Shala on Friday has been interviewed by Kosovo Police. This is due to the suspicion that Shala has threatened Urbanism Director in the Malisheva municipality Ahmet Morina with life.
MP Haxhi Shala appears to have managed to deal with Urbanism Director in the municipality of Malisheva Ahmet Morina.
Shala is allegedly threatening Morina with life because of a decision under his official assignment.

Morina declared that the threat to him has come due to a decision he has made about the consent of a firm operating on Malisheva's territory.
“has had a consent from the Directorate for an operator operating on Malisheva territory. After petitioning citizens and decision by the municipal assembly, I have been forced to implement the municipal Parliament's decision and consent from the preliminary director, I have cancelled on the decision of the Parliament. This decision has had to do with suspending the activities of the stonebreakers. We have requested the withdrawal of the consent issued by our directorate, with the decision of the municipal Assembly and citizens' petition. I've been threatened for this part directly”, Morina has declared.
Meanwhile, Express learns that police have made the risk assessment for the victim, and based on this assessment, Morina is being offered police protection, which the director himself has accepted.
Asked by the Express newspaper concerning the case, Shala denied it, calling it slander.
However, he has confirmed that he was interviewed by Kosovo Police.
“The explanation I don't comment on, it's true. I was in Parliament when I was called, I went, I'm interviewing, it's slander, justice will investigate, it's slander for”, Shala said.
However, Urbanism's director has declared to the police that Shala has threatened him with life.
All this confirmed by the Gjakova Police.
Police Director for the Gjakova Region Lumni Graish said the case occurred Friday afternoon.
“On the date 07.08.20 in the afternoon police station in Malisevo has been announced for a crash case. The victim has been invited to interview and after receiving the statement, due to sensitivity the case has been transferred to the Regional Investigations Sector in Gjakova. According to the victim, the same one has been threatened with life due to a decision under his official duty. A suspect and witnesses have been invited to interview, and at the order of the prosecutor of the same have been released in regular procedure”, Graish has said.
Grace announced that the police are investigating whether there were other persons involved.
“Investigations and police actions for identification of other potential persons involved in this case are still continuing, while police have taken all necessary action in the initial phase of the investigation”, Greste said.
