The Serbian Army's entry within Kosovo territory and concerns raised by residents living in the Karaceva border area has led Kosovo Government head Avdullah Hoti to gather together today all heads of security institutions in Kosovo through a video conference
The meeting has discussed the overall situation in the country and the co-ordination of institutional action in the area of security.
Presented at this virtual meeting were Minister of Internal Affairs Agim Veliu, Defence Minister Anton Quinn, Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director Kressnik Gashi, Kosovo Security Force Commander Lieutenant General Tman Rama, and Kosovo Police Director Rashit Qalaj.
In this conversation, Prime Minister Hoti has thanked representatives of the country's security institutions for their increased commitment and commitment to coping with the situation created as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Similarly, the Government head has demanded that this commitment and mobilisation of these institutions continue further, while also demanding co-ordination with international security mechanisms, and in particular with KFOR, as a strategic partner of Kosovo in the field of defence and security.
