Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has said that the death toll from COVID-19 continues to be high, despite the cases having marked decline.
Hoti through a Facebook post, has said that in September the number of students with parents and teachers will be huge, so he has called for the measures to be respected and taken care of.
His full post:
Dear citizens,
In recent days, as a result of the best respect for the measures, the number of new cases with the Frame-19 has been on the decline. Unfortunately, though, the number of fatality cases remains too high. Many families are losing loved ones.
September is very close when thousands of students, their parents and educators will be in touch, greatly increasing the risk of infection.
So we need increased care. Please respect the measures.
