The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahian, summoned his Israeli counterpart, Gabi Ashkenazin, in what was considered an important step, follows Periscope from The Guardian.
Commending the Emirates for the “removal of blocks”, Israeli Communications Minister Yoaz Handel issued a statement on Sunday saying: “Many economic opportunities will open, and these steps that build confidence between countries are important towards advancing state interests. ”
