Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has announced that Kosovo has signed financial agreements with the EC Development Bank for the draft emergency response to Covid-19, worth 35m euros.
Hoti writes:
The financial agreement with the Council of Europe Development Bank is signed for the “Emergency Reaction to COVID-19”, worth 35m euros.
B The ZHEC is the Council of Europe institution that has mandated social sector support, including the health sector. After the Pandemia European Strike, B The ZHEC has reacted to the opening of two extraordinary rounds for support of the 41 member states in rising health capacities for confronting the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Finance has been working closely with the Ministry of Health to provide needed support to significantly improve health system treatment and capacities to strengthen sustainability and quality of health services. In particular, this agreement will finance medical equipment according to the needs of the MSH and KSFKK, as well as financially financing budgetary lines for measures 6 and 7 of emergency package support for the health sector.
This is the first sovereign loan with the BZHK, and this support will enable rapid implementation of the measures and will make available to the healthcare resources it has not had since the postwar period.
