Urban Traffic Line Resumes for Pristina Airport

From today, Urban Traffic Bus has returned to Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari”. At 7: 00 a.m., it marked the first start from the bus station, heading for the airport, until the final return takes place at 8:00.

“Today the airport line that we call Line 1A started operating from 7:00, the first launch from the bus station, heading towards the airport, while the final departure or return from the airport is at 8:00. As the interruption is known to have occurred as a result of the spread of the pandemic, with which flights were cut short then, we too have stopped the circulation on this line. Now we started with a reduced schedule because even for a while because of the pandemic, bus use will be smaller”, he says.

Rexhepaj stressed that with travel restrictions on 20 persons on the bus, circulation has been difficult to reduce revenues, as it says that service to citizens is primary for the company in question.

With the measures we're taking that are recommendations from responsible institutions, circulation has been difficult, but we've come up with a consensus that I want to thank the citizens because they respect the restriction that is 20 people inside the bus and the setting of masks... The revenues are very small, but the important thing for us as the company is service to citizens entering the department services for citizens. Therefore we must continue in hopes that after a while we will pass pandemic and return to normal”, he says.

The first of the “Urban Treaty”, he announced to citizens that bus use is safe and that disinfections are being done in daily size.
