This meeting between Hoti and the directors of health institutions comes at a time when in Kosovo, the number of people infected by coronary and cases of deaths from the virus has increased.
During the last five days alone, 557 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded, the disease that causes the Coronavirus. During Saturday alone, authorities have confirmed that eight patients have died from COVID-19 disease, which causes Coronavirus.
During the day, media have reported that even five patients have died from coronary, while there are currently 66 confirmed cases of deaths from this virus in Kosovo.
Free Europe Radio has attempted to contact the director of the Infectious Clinic at QKUK, Lindita Ajvazaj-Berisha, to confirm this news, but her phone was not available. Not even infected people within this clinic have been able to explain the situation at the Infectious Clinic.
Arbnora Fazliu of Mitrovica, daughter of a 70-year-old patient who has been infected with coronarys, who died in early hours Sunday, told the media that she doubts her father was not given adequate medical assistance.
