Officials of the World Health Organisation (OBSH) in Kosovo have claimed that access and presence of people who do not belong to health staff, and infected persons in clinics where they are being treated for coronarys are illegal.
Isme Humolli, O emergency official The BSH in Kosovo, the Free Europe Radio says that COVIID-19, the disease caused by the coronary, has high levels of infectiousness, has serious clinical mirrors, as well as high mortality rates. According to her, the presence within clinics of the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK) of family members of people infected with coronarys who accompany them is completely wrong.
“No approach of lured persons is allowed to be present with infected persons. If you've ever seen health personnel come in and have contact with patients with COVID -19, they're dressed in a way that protects themselves from head to foot. The presence of various family members and visitors, even with a simple mask, is extremely wrong, and the consequences are huge”, Hummolli said.
In at least two cases in the last 24 hours, family members of patients suffering from COVID-19 have claimed to have stayed close to their relatives during KKUK treatment.
In both cases, their physical presence in the room with patients had been made known by statements describing the situation in patients ' rooms.
Demush Shasha had announced on July 4th through a post on the social Facebook network that he was accompanying his brother to QKUK, who was infected with coronary, as he also described the internal environments of the Infectious Clinic and the care of doctors. His brother passed away on July 4th.
And Arbnora Fazliu of Mitrovica, whose father died Sunday from Coronavirus, told the media in Kosovo that she and her brother had stayed in the room with their father during treatment, though not both at the same time.
On July 1st, the Government of Kosovo has adopted additional measures to curb the spread of COVID -19 disease. One of these is presented as “halting visits from family of patients to health institutions. Only one person is allowed as necessary”.
But O emergency official BSH in Kosovo, Hummolli, says the government had nothing to allow any patient's family's visit. According to her, this practice should be stopped immediately, because it also conflicts with instructions specified by WHO.
The “must be in conflict. But it should be seen if there was wrong interpretation, because visitors to the Infectious Clinic are allowed to look out the window. So the family can see the patient through the window. We need to see if there's wrong interpretation. But such an approach, if it exists, that allows family members inside, is an increase in risk of being infected by COVIDD-19. This is not only about COVID-19, but it can be carried by other internal infections, which means it can double the other infections on these patients”, Humwall said.
According to the latest data, 3,356 cases have been recorded in Kosovo since the first Corleone cases were recorded until 4 July. Of them, 66 patients have died, 1,874 have recovered, while active cases continue to be 1,416 patients.
