Festival of Kurban-Bajram, Zemaj: BIK Responsibilities

Unlike yesterday's day, the number of Coronavirus infected is lower, but Health Minister Armend Zemaj has demanded from citizens and institutions including the Kosovo Islamic Community to respect the government's new measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Until the government with the new measures has taken [...]
Until the government with the new measures has decided since yesterday that no religious rites will be held in public places, Minister Zemaj during a visit to the Mitrovica Regional Hospital, has said the BIK's responsibility remains to implement antiCondivus-19 measures for the forgiveness of the Kurban Bajrami Prayer on Friday.
“Days have entered into force new measures, which have been jointly analysed with recommendations given by the National Institute of Public Health. I have an additional prayer for you when you address the case (for the prayer of Bajram) we should also share responsibilities, jobs and duties. Health Ministry, I The KSHP gives recommendations, the government makes decisions while other matters for religious organisation belong to the leaders of the Kosovo Islamic Community. We neither stop nor forgive any religious ritual. They decide upon what they have, and they do what they have, according to their religion. We have brought recommendations, we have brought decisions to preserve the health of Kosovo citizens. We have banned all public, private and family activities just to reduce the number of infected”, Zemaj said.
The minister of Health has shown that today they have delivered an ambulance as a donation from the EU to the Mitrovica Regional Hospital, has been asked by the media when they will visit the hospital in northern Mitrovica. For this, Minister Zemaj said briefly that such a thing will be done very soon.
My view in the north will be too soon. All citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, regardless of function or position, are obliged to respect the government's decisions and implement anti-Covid-19” measures, Zemaj said.
Minister Zemaj has also said that, along with donations, they are committed to increasing hospital capacities in Mitrovica.
IKSHPK Director Nasser Ramadani has appealed to citizens and public and private institutions to strictly respect the physical distance, use of masks, disinfectation and ventilation of premises, preventing the eventual spread of infection and avoiding spread in closed spaces.
The situation in recent days is a growing number of cases, but today we have little better news relatively the number is increasing, but there is a slight decline compared to the other days that is not a constant decline, but it is a daily decline, which, if all measures are taken with the IKSHP programme that have been approved by the Kosovo government for sure we will reap success, but until that time we had prayed to the measures undertaken to be fully implemented. During the last 24 hours, 449 samples taken by SSHKUK and regional hospitals have been tested, resulting in 194 positive cases. The total number of positive cases to date reaches 7846, with a total of 196 cases of death to date who have had other accompanying diseases”, Ramadani said.
In the last 24 hours, however, four people have died and a total of 194 new cases have been recorded. The total death toll in Kosovo as a result of COVID-19 has reached 196, while the total figure of the infected has reached 7846.
