But Germany, which has the EU presidency for the next six months, has proposed that the deadlock take place for Serbia-Montenegro, according to Reuters. Germany's proposal has received the backing of France, Spain and Holland.

The list remains a recommendation, not obligation. This makes EU countries decide for themselves whether to implement it. So far, the measures have been taken in different ways, according to the respective countries.

The two Western Balkan countries will be added to the list of countries banned due to the high level of spread of the virus. /euronews/
