According to Mario Fafangel, the main features of the epidemiological situation in Slovenia is that with the current data, Slovenia has reached 9.85 cases for 10,000, which is slightly below the 10-fold limit under which Slovenia places other countries on the green list of safe seats, Codvid-19.
In the last week, from June 29th to July 5th, Slovenia recorded 132 cases of coronary infection.
25 cases of those infected came from abroad: 8 from Croatia, 7 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 4 from Serbia, 3 from Montenegro, 2 from Kosovo and 1 from Kazakhstan
Twelve new cases were direct contact with external infections, while 73 cases dealt with a local infection source.
Mario Fafangel supported the presentation of an application to track contact with infected persons, which will also help epidemiologists.
The burden of IKSHP personnel' work has already reached its maximum, so additional organisational capacity is required.
Application will also help population, as citizens can use it for preventive purposes
