First congress of Kosovo mayors- Albania to be held in November

Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri has announced that in November the first congress will be held among the mayors of the municipalities (K3) Kosovo-Albania.

According to him, under the official visit to the Republic of Albania, among many issues of co-operation with common inter-state interest, I laid out the need for deepening co-operation at the level of local government authorities.

“Today, agreed that in November of this year, let's take the first steps of cooperation through organization Congress Headmistress The (K3) municipalities, the platform that will identify the fields of co-operation and intensify communication between the municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo and in the Republic of Albania. This kind of co-operation, in addition to the institutional aspect, aims to expand co-operation at cultural, social and economic levels, creating space and possibilities of recognition and co-operation on a more practical level.
