Microbiologist Lul Raka in the interactive KTV has said that the pandemic situation in Kosovo is currently manageable and there is no need for panic.

But there may be a return to restrictions if there is a burden on health institutions.

29 people have been infected over the past 24 hours in Kosovo, bringing the total number of affected to 1263 people, while 16.905 tests have been conducted.

But the number of healed ones is also quite high. Today, 22 people have recovered, bringing the healing number to 912.

This is a continuation of phase one. We have an increase in numbers that are the expected reflection of easing measures. When the planning to release the measures is made, it is planned to take place gradually”, Raka said.

He says the most important is the structure of new cases.

The main question was whether to close again. The next situation has been in the beginning, but now there are two main elements: the number of cases, but the main element is the structure of these cases. Most have had slight symptoms, and they do not need to observe. Most are contact cases. Since health capacities are not charged there is no need for panic. The danger is if the number of growing cases goes parallel to the number of hospitals. If that happens, then you should see the possibility of a return of certain measures”, Raka said.

He has also said disrespecting the measures could be dangerous.

“are currently manageable and there is no need for panic and return of measures. But if there are times that overload health. On April 13th, I wish we had crossed the cake. Disrespecting counsel costs, and we have seen it in northern Macedonia. You cannot expect respect for 100 percent of the masses, but disrespecting the masses costs in the family. The main point is families, then public transportation and then driving
