Lajcak this week comes to Kosovo

Since receiving the new post, there was no visit to Kosovo. Pandemia Covid-19 led EU Special Representative for Kosovo Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak to develop, only phone conversations with Kosovo leaders and now, when considered to have removed obstacles and could resume dialogue between the two countries, Lajcak is expected [...]

And now, when it is considered that obstacles have been removed and it can resume dialogue between the two countries, Lajcak is expected to visit both countries.

This has been confirmed by T7 from the European Union Office.

In turn, from the European Union, they say the time when Kosovo and Serbia can start dialogue.

Meanwhile, the United States of America is constantly seeking to resume dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

In fact, the Government of Kosovo was visiting today, US Ambassador Philip Costnet.

The same was hosted by Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri.

According to the latter, the ambassador has been notified of the governing programme, state reforms, as well as the adoption of a new anti-corruption strategy.

After the meeting, T7 tried to get an answer from Ambassador Costnet about reports that Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti was sent invitations to the White House, but the same one has given no answer.

Questions on this issue have also been sent to elected by the White House for Kosovo dialogue Serbia, Richard Green.

But neither has responded to television questions.

Not even from the new prime minister's office have they given answers if the prime minister has accepted a visit to the White House.

Meanwhile, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci indicated that Kosovo is ready to return to the dialogue process with Serbia.

And after the country's first statements that Kosovo is ready for a resumption of dialogue, Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani has reacted.

Osmani has said that Kosovo has always been ready for dialogue, but not the kind the president mentioned.

Dialogue between the two countries has been interrupted since the Haradinaj government had imposed a 100-man tax on Serbian products.
