The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has asked the Ministry of Health, which under certain conditions and agreements allows gastronomic work as well as to allow the organisation of weddings and sporting events with the presence of a number of fans, maintaining social distance and other safeguards.
KMDLNj supports the protests of gastronoms and artists as the right demand for work which is basic human right. Rules and laws must be applied to all, and in concrete cases it is not.
Kosovo's “government should be very attentive to handling these cases as soon as it cannot compensate for these businesses for the huge damages they have been caused. Therefore, it should allow their work by respecting all security measures”, the communiqué says.
KMDLNY response:
- What? DIRETA FOR PUAN , AS E THREE MAN!
Although the number of people infected by COVID- 19, following the departure of austerity measures is marking growth, KMDLNj estimates that the Kosovo government has done well for these measures as early as I said all countries have begun to return to normality. Most businesses are opening under new conditions in line with the situation created. So far there are only stops for gastronomers and artists. The organisation of family weddings and parties has been banned, while political and party manifestations are not respected at all by the criteria set by Kosovo institutions. KMDLNj considers that Kosovo Police have not had to allow LV political activity, where tens of thousands of participants have violated rules like preserving social distance.
In this context, KMDLNj seeks from the Ministry of Health, under certain conditions and arrangements to allow gastronomous work as well as to allow the organisation of weddings and sporting events with the presence of a number of fans, maintaining social distance and other safeguards. Kosovo's government has no alternative: either it should allow these activities or make up for all the losses it has and will have in the future. The right to work is man's basic right and should be respected. Allowing political activities against all health safety regulations and obstructing gastronomous activities, artists position the government as abuser and human rights because of implementing dual standards.
On this level, KMDLNj supports the protests of gastronomers and artists as the right demand for work, which is basic human rights. Rules and laws must be applied to all, and in concrete cases it is not. The Kosovo government should be very attentive to handling these cases as soon as it is unable to compensate for these businesses for the huge damages they have caused. Therefore, he must allow their work by respecting all security measures. Meanwhile, it is the state's obligation to create control mechanisms in order to force real taxes to be paid on the basis of profit realisation.
