Hoti: We Will Be Accountable, Strengthening Our Friendship With America

The elected executive has held the first meeting today, led by Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.

The new government is tasked with giving breath to our internal democracy, respect of the rule and law, and to submit only to the country's constitution. He said challenges should be quickly adjusted, starting in the pandemic. Hoti said they would go back to work and not daily rhetoric, since he said they should not torment citizens with rhetoric but offer them daily jobs.

This government will for the first time have a programme that takes into account the needs of society groups in Kosovo, the needs that communities have, good services in education and health, I expect close co-operation from each of you, even within the government, even with the opposition of all”, Hoti said.
