“Based on data that we have breast-feeding benefits exceed any possible transmission risk of COVID-19. In the breast milk of positive women with coronarys, no living virus has been identified, but several fragments of it, so there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted from mother to newborn”, noted Anshu Banerjee, mother, child and teenager health expert for O BSH referring to instructions published on the UN Agency's page.
