Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's statements that the Presevo Valley will join Kosovo have demented Serb leaders from Belgrade.
Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, has reacted to Thaci's statements, saying this is not reality, the news says.
It refers to yesterday's statement by Thaci, where he reiterates his stance that Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac should join Kosovo as historic right.
Kosovo will be recognised by Serbia as an independent and sovereign state by respecting today's territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo. I'm very excited that Bujanoc's Medveja Presevo attached to the Republic of Kosovo without our theatre being violated, because it is historical right, and that would only be historical improvement”, Thaci said last night in opinion.
Brnabiq has also said Albanians in the Presevo Valley have begun to support religious, cultural and historical monuments, but she also declared she knows about the history that those citizens have.
Enraged, Brnabiq says Thaci may also have claims on Brussels and Budapest, but that such a thing could not happen.
This is not the first time President Thaci's statements cause nervousness in Serbian leaders. The same theme had sparked months earlier the reaction of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and the Serbian government.
