The Social Democrat Initiative, at the majority vote chairmanship meeting, has voted for Bekim Brestovci to be nominated for deputy minister of Kosovo's foreign affairs. The minister, who is headed by the AAK's Melza Haradinaj-Subla.
The news confirmed for the newspaper “New age” Bekim Brestovci himself.
“Yes, at our party's chairmanship gathering Social Democrat Initiative, I am voted to be deputy minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas. But my appointment has not yet been made by Prime Minister”, Brestovci has declared.
The businessman from the diaspora in the last elections has been the candidate of the Social Democrat Initiative for MP, but has failed to get enough parliamentary votes in the Kosovo Assembly.
