Kosovo with energy projects very soon will have full energy independence”- has written Wessel on Facebook.
The Kosovo government's top objective and the entire political class should not be to conflict or political appointments on boards as it is happening now, but it must be attracting serious investors, for exemplary projects that bring development and prosperity, such as Wind Park in Bajgore”.
The full delivery of Kadri Wessel:
I visited closely the works being done to build the Wind Park in Bigora, from the company “SOWI Kosovo”, which is a joint Kosovo, German and Israeli venture. It's a huge project of renewable energy production, placing 27 turbines, running by wind, with a total of installed capacity of 105 megawatts.
This is a strategic investment that strengthens Kosovo's energy independence and that, using the last word of science, enables the production of a significant amount of electricity without harming the environment or health of citizens.
The implementation of this project will cost over 180m euros, thus representing one of the country's most important foreign direct investments.
What makes this project even more valuable, is the fact that this project has enabled modernisation of infrastructure for the community of the surrounding area and has opened numerous new jobs for the Bajgora residents of Shala.
Another thing I enjoyed during the conversation at the site was that even the most difficult project implementation operations were being done by Kosovo experts.
The main objective of the Kosovo government and the entire political class should not be to conflict or political appointments on boards as it is now happening, but it should be attracting serious investors, for exemplary projects that bring development and prosperity, like the Arra Park in Bajgora.
