The spokeswoman of the Regional Water Company “Pristina”, Arjeta Doctor, has told Kosovo Preress that there is currently regular water supply, but during July they will start at reductions, especially in areas supplied by Lake Badovci.
So far the supply has been and continues to be 24 hours long, but given the long lack of atmospheric rainfall, we are thinking from July to the reductions, especially in areas supplied by Badovci Lake, because the water level on Batislava Lake is minus 7.32 feet below the maximum quota of overcrowment, while we have the worst water level in Lake Badovci and is about 10m and a half below 10m to 10m m below the maximum cer”, the doctor said.
The doctor says that Badovci Lake has never been in a worse position since 2007, so it appeals to citizens for maximum drinking water savings and to pay the bills.
If compared with the preliminary periods, Badovci Lake has never been in the worst position since 2007. The payments have been more packaged, so we pray to citizens, who are able not to raise debts during this time, make regular payments for services, because we are self-financed and all incomes are spent on company needs and water distribution to consumer faucet”, she said.
Among other things, she says, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the revenues have been less than 50% of the total, however, according to her, water network maintenance teams and channeling have been in service of citizens all the time.
