Urban Traffic Director Lulzim Rexhepaj has been talking about some of the rules that must be revised during the trip to urban traffic buses in Pristina, which since Monday 18 May have started working, following the second phase of easing measures taken by the Health Ministry against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rexhepaj said that today there will be more bus searches and hopes they will not face difficulties.
We've strengthened the search today so we can get help from the driver of the contractor. We'll try not to let citizens get in without masks on the bus and give support to bus staff. If we don't make it, we'll get the police help. But, I believe there will be no more cases, today we are optimistic that it will go well with”, Rexhepaj said, sent in the Telegrafi.
He added that economically it is not convenient to circulate, but it is the need of citizens to make the flow of buses necessary, while he said that during yesterday they have faced difficulties on two lines, as travellers have not observed the rules.
We had two cases on line 1 and 3, some rude travelers, if we could call them, tried to get on the bus without masks, and disrespecting not to get on the bus after the bus is filled, because it's the limited number so only 20 people can get on the bus, then the door closes, and travelers should wait for the other bus”, Rex2Zyra Ankes” said at RTV Dukagini.
Rexhepaj said masks are binding for travelers who want to travel with urban traffic, while gloves are not.
We've made the skulls mandatory, but the gloves may not even be used because we've placed disinfectant on the bus entrance. It's standardized even gloves, but if you're not hit, it won't be a problem. Also, the mask should cover the entrance and mouth”, the director of Urban Traffic said.
However, in some of Pristina villages, which are covered by private operators, who are not part of the public company, bus lines are not working.
The subx0> lines covered by the public company, Tafificu Urban, are working, and private managed lines I'm aware they haven't come out because they have no advantage and we understand...”, Rexhepaj said.
He called on citizens to resurface measures, to respect signs even when bus staff gives signs that the designated number of travelers has been fulfilled, and said that every night buses are disinfected and cleaned.
