In a Twitter post, President Trump said on Saturday he is considering a number of proposals, including lowering contributions to the organisation by up to 10 per cent of what the United States has paid so far.
A draft letter quoted by Fox News television says the administration “will agree to pay a similar contribution to what China pays” for the organisation.
So far, the US contribution to WHO has been $400m annually. President Trump suspended the United States' financing for the World Health Organisation on April 14th, accusing him of promoting China's “dezination” over the corruption explosion and saying his administration would start a review of the organisation's work.
O Officials The BSH has denied the accusations, while China insists it has been transparent and open. The United States is the World Health Organization's largest donor.
